Q. | Will you be the only person working with me? |
A. | At Roussel & Associates, we use a team approach to financial planning. Steve Roussel
and Brandon Bourque act as the primary advisors, and our administrative team ensures the follow up and
completion of each important detail. We invite all our clients to come to our office and meet our team.
Outside our office, we regularly refer clients to other specialists, such as CPA's, estate planning attorneys,
Property and Casualty agents and mortgage brokers. |
| |
Q. | How will I pay for your services? |
A. | Roussel & Associates is paid by both commissions and fee-for-service, depending
on the services provided and customer preference—
Commissions: Roussel & Associates is typically compensated when you purchase financial products to
implement a financial planning recommendation. In some cases, the provider of the financial product(s)
(e.g. an insurance company) pays our commissions. In other cases, you pay the commissions. For example,
if you buy shares of a publicly traded company, commissions are typically a percentage of the amount you
invest in a stock. Fee-for-service: Hourly rate, flat rate, or fees based on percentage of assets or percentage of income
are other ways that we are compensated. |
