Steven R. Roussel
Owner
Steve Roussel brings more than 30 years of experience to his clients when he helps businesses and individuals
make some of the most important decisions they will ever have to consider—ensuring the physical
and financial health of their employees, their families and themselves.
|
For three decades Steve has maintained that successful insurance and financial planning
stems 90% from listening to clients rather than merely telling them what to do. It is by that creed that
he has built Roussel and Associates into the thriving business it is today.
Steve started his career in Nashville in the early 1970's as a self-employed life, health
and disability insurance salesman and steadily expanded his business in the 80's to managing the employee
benefits for such successful companies as Nashville's Metro Ready Mix, Inc. and multi-national Holtkamp
Greenhouses, Inc.
In the mid-90's, Steve broadened the scope of his business to provide more in-depth
financial analysis for both his corporate and individual clientele. He transformed Roussel & Associates
into a one-stop shop that not only handles the insurance needs of groups and individuals but also advises
its customers on comprehensive retirement and personal financial strategies.
Steve directs the overall company’s operations and now focuses most of his time
on the personal financial and retirement planning aspect of the business while Chris
Hartnett directs the Employee Benefits side. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance
and Financial Advisors and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
